BIG LADY

Marta Izquierdo, stage name "Big Lady", is a multidisciplinary circus artist and dancer.

She specialized in circus disciplines:

aerial techniques, handstand, hand to hand, manipulation cube, hula hoops and stilts.

She discovered her passion for the circus at the age of 17, which is why she decided to train in different specialization courses at the University of Stockholm (2019/22), at the National School of Rio de Janeiro (2012/13), at the Rogelio Rivel School Barcelona and at the Vertigo circus school in Turin, Italy (2009/11).

She has been working as a professional circus artist at festivals, events and shows since 2011. Her performances at Casa Batlló, Poble Espanyol and the Circo Histórico Raluy, in Barcelona, and, internationally, the work carried out in the Maldives, Egypt, Dubai and Cape Verde stand out.
